About Adkisson Florist

Family owned and operated for three generations, Adkisson's Florist has been a tradition in the floral industry since 1913.

Founders Lenna and Wise Adkisson established Adkisson's Florist in 1913. Fifty years later, their son Jay and his wife Tubby purchased the business. Tubby and Jay's son John, the third generation of Adkissons in the company, joined the firm in 1985.

Jay & Tubby have both served as President of the Texas State Florists Association (TSFA) and both are recipients of the TSFA Lifetime Achievement Award.

Tubby is past chair of TSFA's Education Committee and is a Qualified Wedding Coordinator/Consultant. She is certified as an Advanced Texas Master Florist and has been inducted into the American Academy of Floriculture (AAF).

Adkisson's is a Teleflora Top 1000 Florist.

Adkisson's Florist participates in the Chain of Life Network, following special procedures for extra care in handling flowers and plant materials to ensure top quality and long life for every arrangement and green plant you order from us.

Delivery is just $3 anywhere in the Greenville, Texas city limits. There is a $7.50 charge for rural locations.

You'll find us from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Of course, we're always happy to have you visit by phone during shop hours.
